He Loves Me Whole

He knows how adamant I am about my freedom
He knows I could do other things
And I could but he's told me I'm always free
when I'm with him
I ask 'will he love me when I go crazy, not if'
and he says "Always." And I apologize
in advance for the days
my zombies I see when I blink
become more solid
when I become fat
When I wake up screaming about
Octopi between my thighs
he will be there for all that?
Already embracing, he kisses me
making real
his promise, I feel my body, whole.
He'll tell me, 'but you're brave,'
as he does today, rocking slightly
holding gently,
And some of this poem was lost
as I cleansed my nose with salt
which I buy especially so
I don't die with a nosebleed at fault.

Jewel-Mind

I know I reside in my own pretty world
the sun is so bright here
we don't shield our eyes
for brightness can never equate with pain
and truth can never cover a lie
for we here breathe fire
and glittering smoke
the heretics fizzle
the sinners are smote
and we never worry the system will fail us
for it never has, and there's no one to jail us
The constables chuckle and giggle to pieces
while attending gifts on bejeweled nieces
the books are all children's books
beloved by the world
about boys who dance ballet
and angels with curls
no one knows victims, for they don't exist
what a world, what a world, what a paradise, this!

Outlines

My childhood friends are words
Written in the sand on the beach
High tide is a vile thing.
"It'll wait for me," I said.
Shells sweep over my words
I can see their outlines
I dash around to trace them
Digging my toe to define
Harder this time.
The sand is saturated
Water fills the outlines
There is nothing left to cling to here-
Though I still wish to write.

Wake Rise

Wake, Rise as the sun flies
Clinging over-head to roof tiles
Coming down golden brown on my
three hundred and sixty horizon line.

Though I live forest-bound in swamp town
Singular light is bounding into my-
Pouncing is she- into my arms lightly
meowing softly: look at that!

Wake, Rise cascading piles drop, file swap
Into a cupboard, out of my life.
Supervise all the effort and toil
i should do more, or feel so wack.

Every friend I've had is bored
Show your motives to the world.
Loving unconditional with food,
the hand-holding regardless of mood.

I love- steady hold the light-
Hold these strings of brightness
Dazzling in my, your, faces that I love.
Fuses that I've saved
help me to be brave.

Long Hair, Dark Eyes

I Love You
I dream we're
face to face
hand to cheek
you to me
softest skin
inner chill
like a clam
never will
Be Mine Again?
